This space is for real, lived-in food — the traditional, hard-to-find, or “forgotten” meals people remember from childhood, and the everyday dishes you make your own way. You might think your recipe already exists, but trust us — someone is looking for your version.

If you don’t feel confident wording your ingredients or preparation steps, you can use the Chat GPT app to help polish your recipe before submitting.

How to do it:
• Paste your ingredient list and preparation steps into ChatGPT and ask it to “polish this recipe”
• It can help clarify measurements, clean up steps, and improve readability

Not confident in your photo?
Take your best picture, upload it to ChatGPT, and type:
“Polish this image.”
It can help improve lighting, clarity, and overall presentation.

2Β½ cups milk 3 cups sugar 2 tbsp cornstarch ΒΌ tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced

In a saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Fold in sliced bananas. Pour filling into cooled crust and smooth the top. Chill until fully set, about 2–3 hours. Optional Topping: - Whipped cream, piped or spread evenly - Extra banana slices for garnish
